On SATURDAY January 16, 2021, local indigenous people alongside allies will hold a PRAYER ACTION
in Ingleside, Texas to honor the water, land, air and indigenous artifacts that are all currently being
threatened by MODA’s oil export terminal.
The indigenous community that is hosting this action, will assemble along the north east side of
Corpus Christi Bay in order to pray for and bring awareness to the threat of industrial build out in
the coastal bend area.
The oil and gas industry has been polluting this area for several years and it is time to take a stand and
offer a different perspective. For far too long the people of the coastal bend have been told we need fossil
fuel industries to help our economy, when we all know these industries come with hidden costs, the
health of our people and the environment.
